Use claims accurately
State the approved identity and scope without implying broader recognition.

Maintaining approval
Approval brings continuing duties. Providers must protect the accuracy, integrity, and current relevance of every approved claim.
Key considerations
State the approved identity and scope without implying broader recognition.
Maintain records that show continued operation of the reviewed controls.
Tell us about changes that may affect the approved organization, ownership, scope, or quality system.
Provider review
Approval marks, wording, status, dates, and scope must be used as authorized. Providers must not suggest governmental endorsement, professional licensure, or automatic accreditation of unreviewed programs.
Providers remain responsible for instructors, content currency, delivery, learner support, assessment, certificates, records, subcontractors, complaints, and data handling.
Approved providers must respond to reasonable monitoring requests, supply accurate information, address corrective actions, and cooperate with concerns or complaints relating to approved claims.
Approval may be conditioned, restricted, suspended, or withdrawn where requirements are no longer met or claims are misleading.
